Isagulian: Presidents of Armenia and Karabakh should meet

The presidents of Armenia and Karabakh, Catholicos of All Armenians, and Catholicos of the Holy See of Cilicia should meet and discuss the urgent problems, the chairman of National Security Party Garnik Isagulian said at a meeting with reporters today.

“What has Armenia achieved in the last 19 years? On September 3 Armenia announced its decision to join the Customs Union. The main reason for that decision is that Armenia is unable to ensure its national security by itself,” Isagulian said.

In his words, the meeting participants should forgo their personal ambitions. “If they fail to restrain their ambitions during discussions, then they have nothing to do. In this case the Armenian people should elect new leaders,” the speaker noted.
