Ruben Hakobian doesn’t comment on his decision to resign

Armenian parliament deputy Ruben Hakobian declined to comment on his decision to resign as head of Heritage parliamentary faction. “I just decided to resign and I ask you to respect my decision,” he told journalists.

“Raffi Hovannisian was against my resignation, but as a democratic person, he respects my decision,” Ruben Hakobian said.

He added that the faction will hold a sitting to discuss the candidacy of the faction’s new leader.
