Heritage faction not included in Armenian delegation to PACE

The parliamentary faction of Heritage Party has not been included in the Armenian delegation to the PACE. The decision was taken at the consultation conducted today by the parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamian.

The head of Heritage faction said at the National Assembly’s sitting today that the purpose of the consultation was to do everything possible to exclude dissent in the Armenian delegation to the PACE.

Yet the announcement caused enthusiasm in the parliament hall, with deputies greeting the news with applause.

“Mr. Abrahamian. Respective steps will be taken in connection with this authoritarian decision. I should say that dire days await you, including your colleagues in the party,” Zaruhi Postanjian said.
