NKR president visits Avetaranots village

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakian went today to the village of Avetaranots to attend the opening ceremony of a memorial complex to the soldiers who lost their lives during the Artsakh war.

The president said we should remember the feats and heroism of the fallen soldiers and do our best so as to fulfill their wishes and aspirations, the most cherished of which is a free and independent state and its dynamic development.

Bako Sahakian then presented state awards to a group of soldiers-liberators of the village. Among those present were Primate of Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosian, and officials.
