Alexander Arzumanian: Bestial loyalty will ruin us

“The ‘Russian boot’ hangs over us. We think we managed to overcome a slave in ourselves, but we didn’t. The old Soviet-era mentality is now strangling the new liberal generation,” parliamentary deputy Alexander Arzumanian said at the founding congress of the Armenian All-National Movement (HHS) today.

“There will be no result until we get to our feet. Blind obedience and bestial loyalty will ruin us. We already have such loyalty to Russia,” Arzumanian noted.

In his words, HHSh has always struggled for democracy and a democratic country.
