Paravakar-Vazashen motorway still closed

Paravakar-Vazashen section of Ijevan-Berd Highway in Tavish province of Armenia is still closed because there is a danger it may come under gunfire of the Azerbaijani side, the Paravakar village administrator Roland Margarian told Aysor.am.

“The situation in the village is normal. There is no shooting. No shots were recently fired at positions either,” Margarian said. According to him, the motorway will remain closed for some time.

Locals use a bypass road which is uncomfortable and creates difficulties, R. Margarian said.
