Seyran Ohanian and Dimitris Avramopoulos discuss military cooperation

At the invitation of Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian, a delegation headed by the Minister of National Defense of Greece Dimitris Avramopoulos arrived in Armenia on October 28 for a two-day official visit, the press service of Armenian Defense Ministry said.

An official ceremony of welcoming the Greek delegation took place in the administrative building of Armenian Defense Ministry. Then Seyran Ohanian and Dimitris Avramopoulos had a tete-a-tete conversation, followed by an enlarged meeting.

At the meeting, the sides discussed Armenian-Greek military cooperation and issues concerning regional and international security.

The sides appreciated the level of cooperation between the defense ministries of the two countries, noting the full implementation of the 2013 bilateral military cooperation program.
