'Georgian authorities will try to normalize relations with neighbors'
Following the presidential elections, Georgia will continue the negotiations on the Association Agreement with the European Union, Director of Caucasus Institute, political scientist Alexander Iskandarian told reporters today.
In his words, the new authorities of Georgia will try to normalize relations with all the neighbors.
“We will now see if any arrests of high-ranking persons will be made in Georgia”, Iskandarian noted, adding, “People demand that. But, on the other hand, such tactics will not be perceived correctly in the West so the Georgian authorities today are faced with the choice”.
