Hello Yerevan faction files suit over transport fare increase

The Court of Appeals of Armenia on October 23 accepted for examination the complaint of Hello Yerevan faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders against with the September 24, 2013 decision of Armenia’s Administrative Court and the July 19, 2014 decision of Yerevan mayor.

The faction’s press office said that Judge A. Sargsyan of the Court of Appeals informed the faction in writing that the complaint meets the requirements of Article 117 of the RA Code of Administrative Procedure and that grounds for dismissing the complaint are absent.

Earlier, on September 24, Judge Artsrun Mirzoyan of the Administrative Court declined to accept for examination the faction’s two statements of claim concerning the increase in public transport fares.
