President receives Victor Khristenko

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received today a delegation led by Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission’s Board Victor Khristenko.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues related to cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and Armenia, according to the presidential press service. In this connection the interlocutors spoke about the memorandum on deepening of cooperation between Armenia and EEC, which was signed yesterday, and the results of the first meeting of the working groups. In the opinion of both sides, the memorandum’s signing created a firm basis for cooperation.

Serzh Sargsyan and Victor Khristenko stressed that following Armenia’s announcement about its entry into the Customs Union and the Common Economic Zone, there is much to be done. They reaffirmed their readiness to do this work in close cooperation in order to complete it as soon as possible.
