Vartan Oskanian meets envoys of EU member states in Armenia

Member of the Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) parliamentary faction Vartan Oskanian met today with the envoys of the EU member states in Armenia – the envoys of Germany, France, the UK, Poland, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Romania. The meeting was held at the envoys’ request.

The meeting participants discussed Armenia’s decision on entry into the Customs Union in the run-up to the Eastern Partnership’s Vilnius summit and further possible cooperation with the European Union, the press service of Vartan Oskanian said.

The European diplomats asked questions concerning regional developments and the Syria crisis.

The current stage of the Karabakh conflict settlement and Armenia’s internal political problems were also discussed at the meeting.
