D. Tonoyan receives members of Karabakh war veterans’ council

David Tonoyan - First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia, head of the commission set up by the defense minister for examination of Karabakh war veterans’ problems – received today representatives of the Council of Karabakh War Veterans: Tigran Harutyunian, Hovik Vardumian and Kolya Kocharian, the press service of Defense Ministry said.

A number of problems brought up by Karabakh war veterans were discussed at the meeting. The sides addressed the arrest of reserve Colonel Volodya Avetisian as well as status and social problems of Karabakh war veterans.

David Tonoyan gave his assurances that the veterans’ problems are at the center of attention of the defense ministry’s heads, noting that the ministry continues the planned work aimed at solving those problems.
