Armavir resident dies in fire

Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations received information at 4:30 pm today that fire broke out in an apartment of building # 29 on Baghramian Street in the city of Armavir, Armavir province. A fire brigade was sent to the scene.

The fire was contained at 4:39 pm and extinguished at 4:46 pm.

Rescuer-firefighters found the apartment owner lying unconscious in the sitting room. The 73-year-old was transported to Armavir city hospital where he died.
