Presidents of Armenia and NKR attend military exercises

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakian together with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended on November 12 military exercises of units of the Defense Army in the north of the NKR.

On the evening of the same day the presidents of the two Armenian republics participated in a consultation of high-ranking military commanders, the press service of the NKR President’s Office reported. The participants discussed the military exercises.

Bako Sahakian stressed the importance of raising consistently the level of the Defense Army’s fighting efficiency, considering it as one of the efficient components for ensuring the security of Artsakh and maintaining regional peace and stability.

The defense ministers of the NKR and Armenia, other officials were present at the events.
