Tigran Karapetian: Shant Harutyunian had pure motives

“I don’t think that Shant Harutyunian’s factor was small, or big, or wrong,” the leader of People’s Party Tigran Karapetian said at a meeting with reporters today when commenting on the internal political developments.

In his opinion, Shant Harutyunian was treated improperly. “His motives were pure. People are punished because they demand justice,” he noted.

According to T. Karapetian, there is a difficult situation in the country. “People flee Syria because of the war, but why should people leave their own country? Everything is done here so that people will run into debt and be unable to live decently,” he said.
