PM: Stepanakert airport is important issue on our agenda

“An agreement about a meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents was reached. At the moment we don’t have any other information inspiring optimism,” Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said during the Q&A session in the parliament, when responding to ARFD deputy Aghvan Vardanian’s question about possible expectations from the negotiations on the Karabakh problem.

The deputy also asked a question about the launch of Stepanakert airport. The prime minister replied that the airport’s problem is one of the most important issues on their agenda.

In his words, it is important to prevent the airport’s operation from becoming a subject of political speculation, in which Azerbaijan is actively engaged now.
