Deputies join protest march against accumulative pension system

A group of Armenian citizens are holding a protest against the introduction of a compulsory accumulative pension system. The march started from the building of the Armenian parliament.

The marchers were joined by Armenian parliamentary deputies: Ms. Zaruhi Postanian of Heritage faction, Armen Rustamian, Aghvan Vardanian and Artsvik Minasian of ARF-Dashnaktsutyun faction, and Ms. Naira Zohrabian, Vahe Enfiajian and, Vahan Babayan of Prosperous Armenia party (BHK) faction.

We would remind you that the Armenian parliament’s special session on the postponement of the compulsory accumulative pension system’s introduction until 2015 did not take place today due to the refusal of the faction of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia to attend the session.
