NKR president attends opening of memorial complex in Hatsi village

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakian attended today the opening ceremony of the memorial complex in Hatsi village, Martuni region of Nagorno Karabakh. The complex is in memory of the soldiers who lost their lives in World War II and the Artsakh Liberation War.

The president thanked all those who supported this patriotic initiative. He stressed that retaining the memory of those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the homeland is important for military and patriotic upbringing of younger generation and preservation of the national values, according to the press service of the NKR president.

Speaker of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghulian, other officials took part in the opening ceremony.
