ENA denies redundancy threat

A group of employees of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC informed today the editorial staff of Aysor.am that their company plans to dismiss employees of a whole department without notification. When asked by Aysor.am to comment on that information, ENA spokeswoman Nalalia Sarjanian said the matter does not concern dismissal of employees.

“Changes are being made in the company: some units’ functions are being automated, but it doesn’t mean that people will be dismissed. We held a meeting and we currently discuss their transfer to other jobs,” she said, adding that no decision has been made so far and so employees needn’t worry.
