Government department head: Protesters make senseless demands

Protesters are making senseless demands, Alexander Ghazarian, the head of the Department for Reception of Citizens and Discussion of Petitions of the Government Staff, told reporters when commenting on today’s protest against the accumulative pension system held outside the government.

“The impression is that protesters are unfamiliar with the law. I think they neither read nor examined that law,” A. Ghazarian said.

During the protest, participants handed a letter-complaint to him.
