Sappers of Russian base in Armenia finish clearing of training grounds

Field engineers of the South Military Region’s Russian military base in Armenia have finished clearing of explosive items in Kamkhud and Alagyaz training grounds, RFE/RL Armenian service said.

According to the press service of the South Military Region, over 400 hectares of land in training and shooting grounds was cleared in the past month. About 100 sappers were involved in the work. More than 3,000 explosive items were disarmed.
