Safarian: Ukraine was forced to abandon European integration

After Armenia, Ukraine was also forced to abandon the process of European integration,’ the secretary of Heritage Party Stepan Safarian said at a meeting with reporters today.

“The issue has moved from the plane of Armenia-EU or Ukraine-EU relations into that of EU-Russia relations,” the speaker noted. He expressed an opinion that external political players will play an important part in the foreign-policy orientation of countries.
