64% of respondents in favor of Armenia’s plans to join Customs Union

64% of respondents said they are in favor of Armenia’s plans to join the Customs Union. The public opinion survey was carried out by Armenian Marketing Association, the representative of Gallup International Association in Armenia.

67% of respondents in Yerevan and 61% of those in Armenian provinces favor Armenia’s entry into the Customs Union, Armenian Marketing Association’s head Aram Navasardian said.

In the opinion of 38% of respondents, Armenia’s entry into the Customs Union will result in economic growth, 26% said it will result in a fall of prices, while 17% said that no changes will occur.
