Putin: Russia never intended to leave Transcaucasia

Russia is going to consolidate its positions in Transcaucasia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

“As regards Transcaucasia, Russia never intended to go away from here. Quite the opposite, we are going to consolidate our positions in Transcaucasia,” Vladimir Putin said at the Russian-Armenian interregional forum.

According to him, Russia’s positions in the region will be consolidated based on good relations with all the regional countries.
