Opposition deputies meet with protesters

Participants of the protest organized by ‘I am against Compulsory Pension System’ civil initiative walked to the Human Rights Defender Office from where they will march towards the government building.

Several opposition deputies met with protesters.

Secretary of Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction Aram Manukian announced that the four opposition factions will jointly apply to the Constitutional Court, while the leader of Heritage Party Zaruhi Postanjian proposed starting a national strike.

Let us remind you that the parliamentary majority today voted against the proposal to postpone for a year the introduction of a compulsory accumulative pension system in Armenia.
