Man arrested for extortion in Zvartnost Airport

An employee of the drugstore located in the departure hall of Zvartonts Airport informed the airport police unit on December 3 that around 4:30 am on the same day a stranger entered the drugstore. He took 28 thousand drams from the drugstore clerk by abusing her confidence and left.

At 3:30 pm on December 3 Vazgen G., 44, came to the police unit of Zvartnost Airport and confessed to the crime. The man has a previous conviction. An investigation is underway.
