NGO head: New Year’s festive table will cost 150-200 thousand AMD

The average Armenian household will spend 150-200 thousand drams on the New Year’s festive table, the head of Informed and Protected Consumer NGO Babken Pipoyan told journalists today.

“An average table will cost a family 150-200 thousand drams, while a table with expensive meals may cost up to 2 million drams,” Pipoyan said.

According to him, in all likelihood the prices of meat products will remain the same, but prices of vegetables and other foods served on New Year’s Day will go up.
