“New Aleppo’ construction project presented to Syrian Armenians

Vahe and Gohar Tutunjians – the authors of New Aleppo district’s construction project today presented the master plan of the district to Syrian Armenians who moved to Armenia, according to Armenian Ministry of Diaspora.

New Aleppo district will be located in the city of Ashtarak, Aragatsotn province, not far from Etchmiadzin highway. It is planned to build 485 apartments, stores, a drugstore, a swimming pool, etc. 1-, 2- and 3-room apartments and an underground parking area will be built.

Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobian said the program was launched in late June on the Armenian president’s instructions. “Our aim is to provide good housing conditions for you,” she said. According to her, 625 people have so far expressed an intention to buy apartments under the program.

The minister announced that they invited representatives of banks to clarify which crediting system is most acceptable. The banks’ representatives presented the crediting conditions in detail.
