MES: Roads in Sisian, Tavush and Gymri barely passable

All Interstate and republican roads of Armenia were open as of 10:00 am today. Sotk-Karvachar road and the Selim mountain pass are closed, a section of Yerevan-Sevan highway is barely passable, Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported.

The Sisian road in Synuk province, Baghanis-Voskepar, Vanadzor-Alaverdy, Vayk-Sisian, Gavar-Martuni roads and Talin section of Yerevan-Gyumri highway are barely passable due to snowstorms and black ice.

Stepansminda-Lars highway is open only for passenger cars and buses with a capacity of up to 30 passengers, Georgia’s Department of Emergency Situations said.
