All republican and interstate roads open in Armenia

It was snowing in several regions of Armenia, including Aparan, Jermuk and the Saravan mountain pass, as of 5:30 pm today, according to Transport and Communication Ministry.

Some sections of roads in Talin, Ashotsk, Tashir, Sevan and the Selim mountain pass are covered with ice. Snow removal operations are conducted.

Because of bad weather, drivers are advised to use Ttu Jur-Navur road from 5:00 pm to 7:00 am local time only in extreme cases.

All interstate and republican motorways are open to traffic.
