GM Tigran L. Petrosian wins bronze in Warsaw

Armenian GM Tigran L. Petrosian finished third in the European rapid chess championship held in Warsaw, Poland. He scored 9.5 points out of 11 – the same number as the gold and silver medal winners GMs Richard Rapport of Hungary and Vladimir Malakhov of Russia. By the tie-breaker, Petrosian won the bronze medal, Armenia’s Chess Federation said.
