Defense Ministry and OSCE sign 2014 cooperation program

Armenian Defense Ministry and the OSCE Office in Yerevan summed up the results of their cooperation. The event was attended by Defense Minister Seyran Ohanian, Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan Ambassador Andrei Sorokin, high-ranking officials of Defense Ministry and the General Staff of the Armed Forces and representatives of the OSCE Office, the press service of Defense Ministry reported.

The defense minister and the head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan assessed the work done as excellent, noting that cooperation contributed to institutionalization of human rights, strengthening of democratic values and reforms aimed at efficient control of the Armed Forces.

At the conclusion of the event Seyran Ohanian and Andrei Sorokin signed the 2014 program of cooperation between Armenian Defense Ministry and the OSCE Office in Yerevan.
