Protest underway outside parliament
A protest is underway outside the Armenian parliament. Participants are protesting against the ratification of the two agreements signed between the Armenian and Russian governments: the agreement on the terms of the purchase and sale of ArmRosGazprom Company’s shares and its further operations and the agreement on the price formation order of natural gas supplied to Armenia.
The deputies of four non-coalition factions of the parliament have joined the protesters. These deputies have earlier boycotted the vote held in the parliament today.
“We will decide on the plan of our further actions. Three members of the counting commission had no right to take a decision,” deputy Levon Zurabian said.
Deputy Aram Manukian announced that representatives of the non-coalition factions will give a joint press conference.
