Sociologist: We are sitting on social bomb

“We are sitting on a social bomb. Everyone will suffer if it explodes,” Chairman of the Armenian Sociological Association Gevorg Poghosian told reporters today.

“The opposition is becoming more aggressive, while civil society is growing bolder. An explosion may occur very soon so the authorities should get in touch with the people,” the sociologist noted.

As regards the gas agreement with Russia, G. Poghosian said it raises more questions than gives answers.
