Mayor gives instructions on 24-hour shifts during holiday season

At the working consultation held in Yerevan Municipality today, Mayor Taron Margarian instructed public service companies to establish 24-hour shifts during the upcoming holiday season, in particular, to control strictly the organization of garbage collection and sanitary services and ensure proper operation of public transport.

The mayor also gave instructions to store up the necessary amount of sand and salt in case of possible snowfalls during the New Year season and if necessary to involve vehicles of the city’s construction firms in snow removal work, in addition to snow plows of administrative districts of Yerevan, according to the press service of Yerevan municipality.
