Arman Sahakian: Yerevan circus to be completed in 2015

In 2015 Yerevan will have a circus in line with international standards, the head of State Property Management Department at the Armenian government Arman Sahakian told a press conference today.

The owner of Yerevan circus’s building assumed an obligation to invest about 650 million drams by late 2014, but problems with the foundation prevented the project’s implementation, as a result of which the building was demolished.

According to the department head, the demolition is also considered an investment, but the owner promised to make all the investments of 650 million AMD until late 2015.

“It means that in 2015 and perhaps even earlier - construction work is already being done, we will have a good circus in line with international standards,” Arman Sahakian said.
