Commercials not to be aired on Public Television of Armenia

At today’s session, the Armenian government approved the draft laws on amendments and additions to the Law on Television and Radio and on amendments to the Law on Advertising.

By the drafts, the broadcast of commercials on Public Television of Armenia will be banned, except for social advertising and information on sponsors of cultural and sports programs in accordance with Article 14 part 6 of the law. It is not allowed to disseminate information about more than one sponsor during a cultural or sports program.
