Tevan Poghosian gives up parliament seat

Armenian parliament’s deputy, member of Heritage faction Tevan Poghosian submitted an application for  giving up his parliamentary seat to the speaker Hovik Abrahamian.

“I made that decision long ago, but I decided to wait until the end of the political year so that my obligations undertaken during political processes will not remain uncompleted. I already informed my colleagues from Heritage Party about my decision. The reasons are not political, they are related to internal particulars so I consider it unethical to speak about them,” Poghosian wrote on his Facebook page.

He noted that he will continue his struggle in the social sector.
