President offers condolences over Armen Mazmanian’s death

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolence in connection with the death of famous director, rector of Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema, founder and head of ‘Goy’ National Experimental Performing Arts Center Prof. Armen Mazmanian, according to the presidential press service.

“Thanks to his innovative approaches, Armen Mazmanian made a great contribution to the development of Armenian dramatic art. He manifested his abilities as a skillful organizer while heading Goy Studio and Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema. His energetic nature did not remain indifferent at the time of the homeland’s defense and during social processes in Armenia,” the telegram says.

Serzh Sargsyan expressed his condolences to the family, relatives and friends of Armen Mazmanian on his untimely death.
