Armenian president expresses condolences to L. Khechoyan’s family

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolence in connection with the death of prose writer Levon Khechoyan, according to the presidential press service. The telegram reads:

“I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of prose writer Levon Khechoyan. One of the brilliant representatives of modern Armenian prose has died untimely.

It is a severe loss, given the fact that the death prevented this writer from implementing his creative ideas. Yet all that he has done as a soldier-liberator, a citizen and an art expert deserves great appreciation.

I express my condolences to Levon Khechoyan’s family, relatives and friends, as well as to thousands of readers of his works”.
