Crisis management centers being set up in Armenian provinces

Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsian conducted a weekly consultation at the ministry today, the press service of MES said.

Director of the Rescue Center Major General S. Azarian spoke about accidents reported in the country and work done during the holiday period. The 2014 work plan of the Recue Center has been developed and approved and proposals made for the establishment of a united technological basis. According to the Rescue Center director, issues related to the development of a united notification system have also been discussed.

The regional units of Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Rescue Service of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic reported online on the accidents and situation. Work on the creation of crisis management centers in provinces is underway.

During the consultation Minister Yeritsian presented the Cooperation for Rescue Medal to Deputy Head of the MES State Reserve Agency Areg Khachatrian for his dedicated service and on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
