Georgian citizen dies in crash in Armenia

Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations received information at 3 am on January 13 about a road accident near Tsoghamarg village, Shirak province. A rescue team was sent to the scene.

It was found that a Scania truck left the road at 26th km of Gyumri-Bavra Highway and overturned.

The truck driver, a 57-year-old citizen of Georgia, died on the spot. Rescuers pulled another man, 32, from the vehicle. His is in satisfactory condition.
