Relatives fail to get back bodies of Levonians killed in Aleppo

A memorial service for Hovhannes Levonian and his son Minas Levonian killed a few days ago was held in Surb Astvatsatsin Church of Aleppo.

The father and son were kidnapped about four months ago from their workplace 20 km from Aleppo.

After being held hostage for four months, Hovhannes and Minas Levonians along with more then 100 other hostages were killed in a prison of an Islamic extremist group during clashes between two armed groups on January 8.

Despite their efforts, Levonians’ relatives failed to get back their bodies and organize their funeral, according to Facebook page of Perio News.
