Iskandarian surprised by sensation following Robert Kocharian interview

Political scientist Alexander Iskandarian is surprised by the sensation caused by the interview of second Armenian President Robert Kocharian. In his words, former politicians always compare years of their rule with present-day realities.

“In all countries, former presidents criticize the current authorities. It is not the first time that Kocharian gives an interview and it is not the first time that a former politician says that the situation was better during his rule,” Isandarian said.

He did not share the opinion that Armenia’s political field has become active after Kocharian’s interview.

“The situation will not change as there is no serious political force in the parliament. The situation will not change until a new political force emerges,” Alexander Iskandarian noted.
