10 accident-prone buildings to be pulled down in Yerevan

Two apartment buildings were put into operation in the city last year, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Kano Areyan said at a press conference in the Yerevan Municipality today.

“These buildings were constructed for residents of 4th degree accident-prone buildings. 226 residents of apartment buildings in Sisakian and Margarian Streets received apartments,” the deputy mayor said, adding that another building will be ready by next year.

According to Kamo Areyan, there are currently ten accident-prone buildings subject to demolition in Yerevan.
