Hasratian: Azerbaijan issues statements inconsistent with logic

Defense Ministry of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic dismissed the statement of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry’s press service to the effect that shots were fired at the field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office during the planned monitoring.

“Azerbaijan issues statements, which are inconsistent with logic and do not correspond to reality. The armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh observe the ceasefire and open fire only in order to suppress the enemy’s activity,” NKR Defense Ministry spokesman Senor Hasratian told Aysor.am.

For more comments, he advised us to apply to the field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office.

The OSCE Mission has conducted today a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the Hadrut direction near Horadiz settlement.

The monitoring passed in accordance with the agreed schedule. No violation of the cease-fire regime was registered. However, the Azeri side did not lead the OSCE mission to its front-lines, Foreign Ministry of the NKR said.
