Azerbaijan’s actions related to Nalbandian-Mamedyarov meeting

Azerbaijan’s subversive actions and ceasefire violations are related to international meetings of Armenia and the meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, expert Sargis Asatrian told journalists today.

According to him, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian should bring up this issue at the meeting with Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mamedyarov. Besides, diplomatic work should be done in connection with the passive reaction of the OSCE Minsk Group.

“This situation may also continue today, prior to the foreign ministers’ meeting. But Azerbaijan will not resort to large-scale hostilities: this does not stem from its interests,” S. Asatrian said.
