Defense Ministry hosts meeting with representatives of expert circles

First Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia David Tonoyan held today a working meeting with representatives of Armenian expert circles, as part of the process of a strategic review of the defense, Armenian Defense Ministry said.

Issues related to Armenia’s security and assessment of the threats were discussed at the meeting.

The participants reached an agreement to regularly hold such meetings, during which Armenian expert circles will express their opinions about threats to the national security, the degree of their impact on vital interests of the state, the probability of realization of such threats, and make an analysis of the potential to counter the threats.
