Pashian: If war goes on, Armenian community will suffer even more

The Syria conflict is becoming a serious challenge not only to regional stability, but also stability in the world, Arax Pashian, an Arabist, told reporters today.

As for the Geneva II Conference, no compromise has been reached, Arax Pashian said: “Although Genera II was convened with the aim of settling the Syria conflict, there have been no changes, and the opposition and authorities refuse to make compromises”.

The Arabist said that the Armenian community in Syria is the biggest challenge for Armenia, which has to ensure Syrian Armenians‘ security. “They fail to solve their vital issues. If the war in Syria goes on, the Armenian community will suffer even more,” A. Pashian said.
