Edward Nalbandian to meet with Iranian counterpart in Tehran

Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian will pay a visit to Iran, the ISNA news agency reported.

According to the source, during the visit due in the second half of February in Tehran, Edward Nalbandian will meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

The 12th sitting of the Armenian-Iranian intergovernmental commission will be held in Tehran in the indicated period. Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisian will also take part in the sitting.

Speaking about the current level of Armenian-Iranian relations at a recent press conference, E. Nalbandian in particular said: “Armenia continues to strengthen good-neighborly relations with its immediate neighbor – Iran. There are no problems between Yerevan and Tehran”.
